WhatsApp account deletion steps

Follow this simple step-by-step guide to remove your gosimless number from WhatsApp:

  • Open WhatsApp Business Account on your mobile and tap on Settings.
  • After opening the Settings, tap on Delete My Account.
  • You will be prompted to select your region and verify your number.
  • After your WhatsApp Business Account number is verified, state a reason for removing your WhatsApp Business Account or write down how WhatsApp can improve its services (optional).
  • After stating a reason or providing your feedback, one final confirmation is required. Click on Delete My Account to confirm and remove your WhatsApp Business Account.

If you use your gosimless number using the WhatsApp API, you can delete the number using the following process:

  • Log in to your Facebook Business Suite
  • Select Settings > WhatsApp Accounts > WhatsApp Manager
  • Select your business portfolio
  • Find the phone number you want to delete
  • Click the Delete icon
  • Follow the steps to delete the phone number
